Santa isn’t ready to go back to school yet! Due to expected inclement weather conditions, all Garden City Public Schools facilities will be closed to the public on Monday, January 8th. The Board of Education meeting will proceed as normal at 6pm and will be open to the public. Staff members are not required to report to work, unless specifically instructed by their supervisor. Many first responders and older students came out to help with the Jennie Wilson and Jennie Barker NFL Play 60 events this afternoon. Fuel Up to Play 60 is an in-school nutrition and physical activity program launched by the NFL and National Dairy Council, in collaboration with the USDA. The program is designed to engage and empower youth to take action for their own health by implementing long-term, positive changes for themselves and their schools.

The Buffs were at Jennie Wilson Elementary School today for a student pep rally. The Spirit of the Buffalo was at the school this week and students will pull it through the tunnel at tonight's football game.
